New extensions and birthday-party-outfit

Since I had to take out my tape-extensions some time ago, I bought some new clip in extensions.

I think the tape extensions have been a good way to get a good result for the low budget I spend on it. The tape-method is good because there was really no damage on my hair after wearing them for tree months but on the other hand they are really care intensive because it is hard to get foam in-between the rows while washing and you have to renew some strand every now and then (but this is very easy and fast). Sadly the hairquality was not so good (the hair was from ebay), this is why it did last "only" three months.
Away from that I found out that I really don't want to spent like 1-2hours every time I wash my hair and that I in fact don't really wear my hair open for work and stuff so for me, it is not really worth it to have extremly long hair every day.

That is why I bought clip in extensions again. I wanted some good quality hair so I boght it from www.rapunzelofsweeden.de because I have read a lot of good feedbacks and reviews about them.
I decided for a full set of 110g of european hair type, 50cm in length, color #24. They also sell indian hair but I had indian hair before and I always had the feeling that it was thicker and more stiff then my own hair so I figured that the european hair would match my own hair structure better.

The website has an easy structure, provides all informations needed and the ordering process is very easy. The shipping happend very fast and this is what the packaging looked like:

The hair itself was packed in a special plastic packaging and I got some haircare-testers as present:

The set contains of 7 pieces: 1x 4clip-piece, 2x 3clip-piece, 2x 2clip-piece and 2x 1clip-piece:

And a closeup so you can see the colour and structure:

I was very lucky with the color since it matches my haircolor really good.
(If you want to order from them and are not sure of the color you can order a ring of testing-strands and send it back after you figured the right color)
My first impression of the hair is that it is really nice and smooth and a bit thinner than I'm used to from the indian hair. Of course the quality will only fully show after some using, washing and styling.

The first time I wore out my new extensions was my birthday party that took part at my grandparents garden last week.
I did a big barbecue party for all my friends.^^

Of course I bought some new clothes for it. XD So here you can see my outfit for the party:

I tried the neko-mimi hairstyle for the first time and I really liked it on me.^^

On saturday I went to the pirate-themed meetup by my circle Velvet. I will post about it asap!!^^

New buys from Zalando

This week I received some new buys which I ordered from Zalando.

This is a German online-shop for shoes, chlothes, acessories, cosmetics and home acessories.

The have a lot of different brands, like high fashion designers but also more affordable brands.

This is the second time I ordered from them. (First have been my ugg-boots)

I really like the shop because of there really fast shipping. I ordered last monday at late evening, so it was shipped on tuesday an allready arrived at thursday. The other good thing is that the shipping (and also returning) is free on every order, no matter how high the price is.

That is why I really could reccomend to buy from them!

And here are the things I ordered from them:

Diamond lash Dolly Eye review

So today I will review my new Diamond lash dolly eye lashes.
I bought them because I wanted some lashes that are quite natural for everyday use.

I got the lashes from Ichibankao, I ordered there several times and really like the shop. They are a bit more expensive than some Ebay-shops but they do really good service and fast shipping.

Price and packageing:

The packageing is quite simple.
As you an see there are 5 pairs in a pack, which is quite much, considering that most japanese brands only put two in a pack. (Like Dollywink, Mellish, Jewerich, etc.)
On Ichibankao I paid 1700yen for the pack which is about 15€, which is in the price range of most japanese brand-lashes. That makes them really cheap, remembering that you get 5 pairs. (Instead of two with most other brands)

A closeup on the lashes:

The lashes have their longest point in the middle, which is an important feature to look more natural I think!
They have a "spike" design and are more dense in the middle and less to the corners.
The spine is not that stiff as my lower lashes from the blue and violet line but still not as soft as dollywink spines. Also the spine is black, which you should consider since you will always have to wear eyeline with them to hide it.

Wearing pics:

(the lower lashes are DollyWink No. 5)

Overall rating:
The lashes are really pretty but still natural, I really love them! Also the price is great so I will definetely rebuy them!^^

Diamond puff compact powder review

Last sunday I received my diamond puff powder.
I got it from Alina who bought if for my directly in Japan.
Until now I haven't seen the compact arround in online shops, only the loose powder is avaliable at shoppingholics or ichibankao.

There are two shades avaliable, one with pink and one with purple labeling. I got the pink one claims to be "transparent" (which it is obviously not) and the violett one says "mat dolly".

The retails price is 1260yen in Japan.

So first of all this is the packageing:

I really like it becaus it looks very valueable. Much better than for example those of candy doll face products which look very cheap in my eyes.

On the lid there is the logo fairy with a little rhinestone:

(quite difficult to capture that >.<)

It also has a mirror inside and a nice soft puff:

Now to the powder itself:

I tried to capture the colour as good as possible here:

(it looks a bit dark here but it is really light and a slight bit yellowish it also has some little sparkling particles but only very few which I couldn't capture in picture)

This is on my bare skin without any makup:

I think it has a quite high opacity for a powder and also it blends in with my skincolour perfectly. (I'm very light skintype)
The consistence is also verry nice and silky and not that dry, though its a bit more dry than the mineralize powder from mac. (But the mineralize has less opacity)

Overall I'm very much satisfied with this product and it will definetly replace the mac mineralize in my makupcase, mostly for two reasons which are the better opacity when I wear it alone and also because the packaging is much nicer and comes with a mirror.
Also the price is very reasonable since it is only about 11€.
I really didn't expect to get such a great product for that low price.

At least some pictures....

Today i wanted to meet Alina in Cologne since she should model for me in my new gyaru fashion collection which will be released soon.
Sadly she got ill so we couldn't meet. But since I was allready styled I thought I could at least take some pictures...

(messy workspace in the background...  >.<)

As you might have seen in my mobile posting my last eylash-order arrived on wensday.
I orderd Dolly wink No 5 which I'm allready familiar with and No 2 which I wanted to try out.
I thought the No 2 would be more casual than No 1 which I usually wear but I when I saw them in the packaging I allready noticed they were really very long, much longer than the No 1.
I also tried them but I really looked damm stupid with them since they are much to long for me and don#t fit my eyeshape so I didn't even put on the second one so here is just a photo of them in the packaging:

at the inner corner they are allready about 1cm, at the outer corner about 1,5cm...

shopingholics.com Max pure violet circle lense review

Some time ago I ordered new circle lenses from www.shopingholics.com

I ordered the May pure violet lenses, since I wanted pretty natural looking ones.

The lenses came in the usual two bottles which were packed into a small box. I also got a very cute lens case for free and there was a little goodie and a small letter with it.

Closeup on the lenses:

And this is how they look in the eye:

I'm also wearing them in most of my latest pics like here for example:

My overall rating of the lenses is very positive. They are very thin and therefor very comfortable to wear.
I also like the natural look they gave me, since they don't look so fake like other cicle lens tend to do they can also go with more casual makup styles.
The service I experienced with shoppinghollics was also very good. Their page system is  very easy and they respond on everything fast. Shipping went smoth and fast.

New hairstraightner - review remington sleek&curl

Last week I bought a new hairstraightner because my old one was broken.

I bought the sleek&curl from Remington.
I bought it at saturn and payed about 52€.

In the packaginge there were the hairstraightener itself, a small bocklet, a DVD with instructions and styling tips and a pouch.
(The pouch is of much poorer quality than the ones of my Remington Curling-irons though the curlers were much cheeper. But I don't mind that so much since I will pretty sure never use these anyway XD)

This is how the straightener itself looks like:

It has 3 buttons on the side for switching on and off and to regulate the temperature and a display to show the actual temperature.
It has ceramic plates and heats up in 15sec which is pretty fast (and yeah that really works!)

Well I think everyone can imagine how straight hair looks like but here you can see my hair curled with it:

I think it turned out really good!
I tried to curl my hair with my old one onec but this didn't work. (it was not specificly made for that, though...)
With this one it works pretty well and also quite fast.

Conclusion:
First I was a bit sceptical about the price since my old one was only 20€ and also my curling irons are not more than 30€, but I wanted to invest in a really good tool so I bought it and I'm really happy with it since I didn't expect the curling to work so good and I'm glad I have bought it and would really recomend it!

Price:          5/5     (it's not really cheep but definately worth it!)
Packaging:  3/5     (nice but nothing special)
Design:       3/5     ( "   "  )
Function:    5/5     (great, serves everything that is promised)

Diamond Lash + Jewerich lashes review

So today I picked up my Diamond lashes from the cutoums and since I had time after university I directly tested them and did a review:

First of all this was my makeup without any lashes for reference:

Diamond Lash - "Charming eye" and "Princess Eye" bottom lash

Pairs in one pack: 5

Cost: 1700 JPY (~ 15,30€)

Bought at: ichibankao.com

The blue pack is "charming eye" and the purple is "princess eye"

Charming eye:
They are seperated in one big and two small parts

This is how they look on my eye. (Upper lash is Dolly Wink No.1)

Princess eye:
They are complete bows

This is how they look on me (also with Dolly Wink No.1 as upper lash)

Here you can see them booth in direct comparasion:

My opinion:
They both have a quite stiff spine which I personaly don't like that much since I think it is more difficult to apply and also not that comfortable to wear.
However on the charming eye ones I didn't have a problem with that since they are seperate parts so the pre-curl of the spine is not that important but with the princess eye typ I had some issues in application since they tend to flip down.
All together I like them cause the visual result looks great in my opinion and the price is quite ok if you consider that you get 5 paris whereas for example at Dolly Wink you get only 2 for the same price. (although I have to admit that Dolly Wink are my alltime favorites when it comes to wearing-comfort)

Some time ago I also bought some lasehs from jewerich so I will also write something about these:

Jewerich eyelash No. 3 (lower lash)

Pairs in one pack: 2
Cost: 1650 JPY (~ 14,86€)
Bought at: ichibankao.com

They look beautifull in the package, don't they? XD

Sadly I didn't even had the oportunity to do some pics of me wearing them since after the first time I wore them I allready had to put them into trash...

Here you can see one still intact one on the right side in comperasion with two where I removed the glue onle one(!!!) time. They directly loose hair or bend away when you try to peel the glue off.
(This can not be a result of my technic of removing the glue since these are the only ones I ever had problems with. I have other lashes in use for half a year without loosing a single hair...)

So just please do never ever buy these cause it's really like throwing your money into the trash!!

Recent purchases

Last week I went to the city in Krefeld and Essen and made a very short trip to Duesseldorf to go to OCS.

Since my hair is in a bad condition at the moment I bought trial sizes of shampoo and conditioner-spray from sexy hair:

The shampoo is not that stunning. For my taste it's a little to dry (even though it is a moisturing one) and it's hard to get it foaming enough.
The spray-conditioner is really great! You can feel the effect directly after the first application and it's smell is really delicious. Sadly it is quite expensive. (300ml for 19,90€) but I think I will purchase the big one never the less since it is really sort of a wonder-treatment.

When I went to Essen I explored the new Kiko shop in the Limburger-Platz-Arcaden.
I never saw this brand or their shops bevor but I think it has some really nice products. I purchased a big powder-brush:

It is really smooth which suprised me, considering the quite good price. It is synthetic hair but of very good quality. (I would compare it with MACs LE-Brushes)
Price was 15,60€ or something...

In Duesseldorf I got the new ageha:

It has some really nice makeup-tutorials in it (as usual) and also some tests / comparison of different eyeliners and fake lashes.

Also the last week I really bend my head because I want to buy a new mobile phone but I can't decide between Motorola Backflip and Palm pre plus.
The Palm is better from point of hardware and basic softwear features but the Motorola has this verry cool moto-blur messaging funktions.
What do you think which one is better??

Candy Doll lip-concealer review

I promised to do a review of the Candy Doll lip-concealer a while ago so now I here you go:

Candy Doll lip-concealer:

Packaging:

This is how the packaging lookes like. Verry cute I think.
(This is a promotional pic from candy doll)

Price:
The origal retail price is 1260yen in Japan. On ichibanko I paid 1900yen including oversa-shipping.
I think the price is not a bargain but quite ok, though I was a bit dissapointed of the actual size which is verry small.

Look:
It has a medium shinny effect and a tiny shimmer.
For my skincolour it matches perfectly but I would not recomend it for dark skin types.

Feel:
The texture is very comfortable on the lips, it has a bit of a creamy feeling and is not sticky at all, which really supprised me positively. The sticky feel is just what I always dislike at lipglosses but this one is just perfect. I never tried a gloss that is as perfect non-sticking like this.
The only not so much positive is that the smell is not that nice.

Overall rating:
I really like it and would really rbuy it again, the price is ok for what you get and the qaulity of the product is really good. Only with dark skin you may get colour-matching problems.

MAC brush-set review

Maybe you rember that I had bought a brush-set from MAC shortly, like I mentioned in this post.

I tought it might be interesting for you to hear what I tink about it now that I had it in use for a while...

So first some basic facts about the set:
Name: MAC graphic garden 5 brush set "blend and define"
Content: Make-up pouch, brush pouch, 5 brushes.
Price: 56€

And here is my review to the single brushes:

Type 129SE (blush)

This is a really nice brush for blush or some bronzing powder / hilighter.
It is amazingly soft and has an oval rounded shape. It is just a little small for my personal taste, I like the huge ones more but it's good for taking arround.

Magazines <3

Magazines can be a very good source of information, or in worst case just be dead – boring…..

In fact I don’t often look into german magazines because most of them (in my opinion)  are real boring and just showing to much 0-8-15 mainstream co’ords which you can also see by just walking through the streets.
I sometimes take a look into “Glamour” but it is really just looking through in 10 minutes, and most of the time there is nothing realy exciting in it.
I’m also used to have a look into “Vouge” which isn’t bad but it’s not my style and I think it is more made for another age-group.

German magazines I really recommend are:

Streetwear today
is a German magazine but it’s written in English. It’s oriented on streetwear.

Style and the family tunes
is written in English and German. It is more a lifestyle magazine with topics out of fashion, art and architecture, literature and actual topics. It always has a very nice, inspirating modern layout.

Japanese magazines I can recommend:

Popteen
is a fashion magazine about Gal-style (which is a japanese fashion trend) and there are often nice make up tutorials in it.

Kera
is oriented to Gothic, Lolita and Punk style.

If you are interested in having a Look into these or other Japanese magazines you should check out the J-magazine-scans Community on Livejournal  where you can find scans of nearly every magazine for free or buy them on Neotokyo (german only).
