It was the first time that this convention took place. It was rather small but I think it has potential to grow fast next year.
For this convention I made a new cosplay. A female version of Boba Fett from Star Wars.
Sadly I don't have a frontal full body shoot of it but at least a few other pics, so have some photo spam:^^
I didn't post here in a year or so since I didn't feel my life had anything interesting for you in this time but this changed last summer when I finally started cosplaying.
I was spinning this around in my head for a long time now since cosplay always amazed me, even back when I was into Lolita-Fashion, but I was never such a big fan of manga/anime and in that time 90% of the cosplays were manga/anime related.
When I got into gaming some years ago I finally found some nice characters that would make good cosplays but I was always afraid of it. I knew I could easily handle the sewing part, because of my background but I was massively afraid of the armor and props and had no idea where to start with this.
Then, last spring, I went to a role-play convention where some cosplayers had their own booths and I had the chance to talk a bit to them and get some tips about materials and stuff and so I was finally confident enough to start on my very first cosplay.
My choice fell on the classic Astrologic gear from Final Fantasy online, since I also play that class and really loved the design from the first look.
When I started planing I still hat tree months left until gamescom and I thought this would me more then enough time. Silly me. Of course it was by far not enough time, partly because I did this whole warble-crafting-thing for the first time and had no idea but mainly because I work in a full time job and only have my day of and maybe 1-2 hours in the evening on working days. So I ended up working on it EVERY F**** DAY for three months. In this time I did nothing but work, sleep, work on cosplay.
It was really hard but in the end I finished it in time for Gamescom.
I have worn it only one day on Saturday since it was really really uncomfortable, first because it was a long black dress with a wool-cape and 31°C and also because of the huge skirt and the corset-dress I was not able to sit down.
But nether the less it was a really great day, some people asked me for photos or made compliments on my cosplay, which made me really proud. Even some guys from square nix took photos with me.^^ Only downside was that not so many people recognized the cosplay, because not so many people play the game and know the classes.
This cosplay is far from being perfect, but it was my very first one and I think for that it turned out great.
Until now I only have one photo of it, but I want to do a shooting with it as soon as I can.
it's been a really long while since I last posted here.
In the meantime I already thought about quiting the blog completely since of a lack of time and topics.
Since I'm working in a fulltimejob I have very little time and also I do not often style myself or meet with interesting people what gives me only very few things I can blog about.
Also I quit Gothic-Lolita-Style and I'm also only very little in Gyaru-Style and these were the main topics I did write about in the past.
And besides that I mostly feel like nobody is reading it anyway. Well I have some followers but only very few comments on entrys and so on so if you are a reader of this blog please feel free to give feedback and just comment about what you like or dislike or what you would wish to appear in my blog!
But still I want to continue this and try to get more followers and comments maybe with trying a little different topics.
For the future I want to write more about fashion an beauty and do more product and shop reviews. But also I want to write a little about technical gadgets, apps and gaming, since I think this is a topic also a lot of girls are interested in but there are not many blogs/shows/articles/reviews that are written from girls perspectives.
To give you a bit of an update here are a few facts of what is currently happening in my life:
- I'm now wearing glasses, which I really like!!
- I quit Lolita-Fashion almost completely now, with gyaru-fashion my style is still slightly influenced by it but I wouldn't call it that really
- Games I'm currently playing: Heroes of Hearthstone (iPad), Final Fantasy XIII Lightning returns (PS3), Final Fantasy XIV A Realm Reborn (PS4), Skylanders Swapforce (PS4), Zelda A Link between worlds (3DS)

I picked up Chrissi in the morning and we went to Duesseldorf together. There we meet Alina and her husband Brandon at the mainstation, where I helped Alina to put on her yukata.

After that we went to eat something. We wanted to go to nainwa but there was such a long waiting-line that we decided to go to another restaurant.
After lunch we went to the Promenade where the Japan-day took place.
Shortly after we arrived there the wether went bad and it was raining and it was so cold and windy. ;__;
We walked the promenade and searched for Ina who we found at the end of the Promenade but sadly we had only a few minutes together.
After being outside in the to cold for a while we decided to go to starbucks to have some coffee and get warm again.

On the meetup we met a lot of nice people. I was very happy to see Jessica again, even if it was only for short.
Of course I took pictures over the day. I really wanted to take more pictures but the weather conditions were so bad that everyone looked shitty after a while. ;__;

Also I fixed the "reviews"-section again so that you can find product-reviews easily.
I got a new DSLR camera recently and I really want to improve my photography and editing skills so I will do various photoshoots in the future. For this I added the "Photography"-section where you will find all pics from my shoots.
On sunday I already took some shoots at the Dokomi convention in Duesseldorf, which are now available in the section.^^
I think the tape extensions have been a good way to get a good result for the low budget I spend on it. The tape-method is good because there was really no damage on my hair after wearing them for tree months but on the other hand they are really care intensive because it is hard to get foam in-between the rows while washing and you have to renew some strand every now and then (but this is very easy and fast). Sadly the hairquality was not so good (the hair was from ebay), this is why it did last "only" three months.
Away from that I found out that I really don't want to spent like 1-2hours every time I wash my hair and that I in fact don't really wear my hair open for work and stuff so for me, it is not really worth it to have extremly long hair every day.
That is why I bought clip in extensions again. I wanted some good quality hair so I boght it from www.rapunzelofsweeden.de because I have read a lot of good feedbacks and reviews about them.
I decided for a full set of 110g of european hair type, 50cm in length, color #24. They also sell indian hair but I had indian hair before and I always had the feeling that it was thicker and more stiff then my own hair so I figured that the european hair would match my own hair structure better.
The website has an easy structure, provides all informations needed and the ordering process is very easy. The shipping happend very fast and this is what the packaging looked like:
The hair itself was packed in a special plastic packaging and I got some haircare-testers as present:
The set contains of 7 pieces: 1x 4clip-piece, 2x 3clip-piece, 2x 2clip-piece and 2x 1clip-piece:

I was very lucky with the color since it matches my haircolor really good.
(If you want to order from them and are not sure of the color you can order a ring of testing-strands and send it back after you figured the right color)
My first impression of the hair is that it is really nice and smooth and a bit thinner than I'm used to from the indian hair. Of course the quality will only fully show after some using, washing and styling.
The first time I wore out my new extensions was my birthday party that took part at my grandparents garden last week.
I did a big barbecue party for all my friends.^^
Of course I bought some new clothes for it. XD So here you can see my outfit for the party:
I tried the neko-mimi hairstyle for the first time and I really liked it on me.^^
On saturday I went to the pirate-themed meetup by my circle Velvet. I will post about it asap!!^^
But it didn't really happen so much. Just work, work and again work... ;__;

This is my new Dior BB-Cream. I had one from Estee Lauder before but this one is much better since the color is much lighter and it is more moisturizing.

Some weeks ago there was the international gyaru winter meetup. I went there with Ina and we had a lot of fun meeting all the cute gals there. I was really happy to see all the people which I come to meet so rarely like the dutch girls from hyper and my sweet name-sister Jessica.

Well the last months I have been very unhappy with my old blogging-platform (Wordpress) and my old Layout. I really wanted to switch but I didn't have the time to export everything and do the new layout until now.
But with this post I'm back to blogspot now!!
I wanted to go back for a long time since I really missed the blogger following tool which I think is really strong tool. I noticed it at myself while I was using blogger in the past that I was more likely following blogs that were on the blogger platform, since it is easy to read because you get all the new posts from the blogs you are following directly to your own dashboard. Only thing that doesn't yet work is my normal url.
Last week my ebay orders whith cosmetics and lashes arrived at my placed.
I ordered some japanese items:

- Diamond eybrow-mascara
I allready tested the lashes and concealer today.
I will make a detailed review about the concealer soon!^^
Last week I also went to the mac store in Duesseldorf sice I wanted to get a brushset from this years holiday collection. Every year before christmas they release some special edition limited makeup and brush sets whuch come in pretty beauty bags.
Last year I didn't like the designs but this year it is so great!

This week I received some new buys which I ordered from Zalando.
This is a German online-shop for shoes, chlothes, acessories, cosmetics and home acessories.
The have a lot of different brands, like high fashion designers but also more affordable brands.
This is the second time I ordered from them. (First have been my ugg-boots)
I really like the shop because of there really fast shipping. I ordered last monday at late evening, so it was shipped on tuesday an allready arrived at thursday. The other good thing is that the shipping (and also returning) is free on every order, no matter how high the price is.
That is why I really could reccomend to buy from them!
And here are the things I ordered from them:
Yesterday I was invited to be guest at a meet of the velvet gyarusa.
I new some of the people from some overall gal meetups and facebook but never really talked with them that much.
First my styling for the meetup:
What I'm wearing: Dress by bench, cardigan by guess, overknee-socks by tranzparenze, boots by ugg and jewelery by thomas sabo and gina tricot.
I originaly wanted to dye some light purple and black parts into my hair, but at the shop I went to the purple dirictions colour was sould out. So I bought some readymade dark purple strands. I think it looks ok but not not really like I wanted it....
Back to the meetup: We meet at the station and then walked arround and later went to sausalitos to get some coctails and food.

This month was really stressfull for me since there was a lot to do at work. But now I am on holiday and I want to show you what I gifted myself with for the hard work.^^
Of course I got the new iPhone 5 when it was released. <3
My last iPhone 4 was in white but this time I have choosen the black one since I like the monocrome style of it.
I really love the new design and size and for me also siri is a new thing since it was not avaliable on iphone 4.
Of course as soon as I got it I also orderd some nice cases for it.

I also bought the new mascara from benefit and since my mac tinted moisturizer is tending to be empty soon I also bought some BB cream from Estee Lauder. I never used BB cream before but my first expression is quite good. I think I will maybe review it in comparasion with the mac moisturizer.
Tomorrow I will put some new colour in my hair and on saturday I will attend a meetup in Dortmund.
I'm very excited to get to now some other gals from this region.^^
